How refunds work for a digital download. This is not legal advice.
Digital products and your cancellation right
Behind the Veil is a digital download supplied immediately after purchase. Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the standard 14-day right to cancel is lost for digital content once the download begins, provided you have given express consent to immediate supply and acknowledged that you lose the cancellation right. Our checkout is configured to capture that consent before delivery.
Our refund position
Because the ebook is delivered instantly and cannot be returned, we do not offer change-of-mind refunds once your download has been made available.
We do consider refunds on a case-by-case basis where the product itself is at fault. This includes situations where:
- your download link never arrived and we are unable to deliver the file to you;
- the file is corrupted, incomplete, or will not open in a standard PDF reader;
- you received the wrong file; or
- the product is materially not as described on this website.
In these cases we will first try to resolve the problem by resending your download or supplying a working file. If we cannot make the product work for you, we will refund your purchase.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it is not, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund regardless of what this policy says.

Email physcodark@gmail.com or use our Contact page, including your order number and a description of the problem. We respond within 2–3 working days. Please report any problem within 30 days of purchase where possible, so we can investigate while records are current.
