This policy explains how SENTIVAIL, publisher of the Blackroom Psychology imprint (‘we’, ‘us’), handles personal data when you visit our store or buy Behind the Veil. It is written with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 in mind.
What we collect
Order and contact details you provide (name, email, billing information processed by our payment provider), order history, and standard technical data (device, browser, and analytics or cookie data where enabled).
How we use it
To process and deliver your order, provide your digital download, respond to support requests, meet legal and tax obligations, and — only with your explicit opt-in — send marketing emails. We never pre-tick marketing consent.
Payments

Cookies
We use essential cookies to run the store and, where enabled, analytics or marketing cookies subject to your consent choices.
Sharing
We share data only with the processors needed to run the store — for example Shopify, our payment provider and our digital-delivery tool — under appropriate agreements, or where required by law.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and you may object to certain processing or withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email physcodark@gmail.com or use our Contact page. We aim to respond within 2–3 working days and will respond within the statutory time limit. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Retention
We keep order and tax records for the period required by law and delete or anonymise other data when it is no longer needed.
